Location

The hotel is located directly on the long, fine sandy beach at the end of Cancun's hotel zone. Numerous restaurants and entertainment options are a 15-minute drive away. The airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away.

Facilities

The beautiful resort has 426 rooms spread across 9 floors, a reception area with seating, various bars including a lobby bar, sports bar, and beach bar. Dining options include a buffet restaurant and 5 à la carte restaurants (Japanese, Mexican, Italian, American Bistro, and a steakhouse), the Star Café, and food trucks. The well-maintained, modern outdoor area features a spacious freshwater swimming pool complex with 6 infinity pools and a sun terrace. For younger guests, there is a colorful aqua park with a pirate ship. Sun loungers and towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Double Room

The rooms are comfortably and luxuriously appointed, located in the main building, and offer a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (free), air conditioning, minibar (daily refilled), coffee machine, safe, iron, and a French balcony (D). From 1.11.2023, bookable as Premium Room (PR1/PR2). Also bookable at a surcharge with side (DMS) or direct sea view (DM). From 1.11.2023 as Premium Side Ocean View (PSO) or Premium Ocean View (PVO).

Superior Double Room Sea View

With the same amenities, these rooms are more spacious, with a balcony and sea view. Also bookable as Premium Ocean View with Balcony (POB).

Villa Ocean Front

The villas have sea views and are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds, free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, hairdryer, room service, bath/WC, iron/ironing board, safe, and a balcony (VOF). Also bookable as Villa Poolside (V2) or Villa Ocean Front Swim Out (VOS).

Suite Ocean View

The suites have the same amenities and also feature a balcony with a whirlpool and sea view (VOV). Also bookable as Suite Ocean Front (OFZ).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). When occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form or optionally in one of the 5 à la carte restaurants. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks until 1 AM. Star Café 24 hours, snacks during the day at specific times. Room service from 11 AM to 11 PM.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
