Secrets The Vine is exclusively for adults and features 497 modern rooms, all offering great views. The hotel's gastronomic offerings include 6 restaurants, a grill, and a café. As a result, every hotel room user in Mexico is obliged to pay a local tax to the state, in cash at the hotel.

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax came into effect and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to have the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars with you.

No smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transportation, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations may be punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
