Location

The hotel is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic directly on the long, fine sandy beach of Playa Macao. It is approx. 35 minutes to Punta Cana Airport and approx. 75 minutes to La Romana Airport.

The modern resort has 500 rooms in three-story buildings and offers its guests a highly comfortable stay. Culinary variations are offered by the various restaurants: a main buffet restaurant, a beach restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (e.g. Italian, Asian, French (Adults-Only), Mexican, and seafood specialties, no reservation required) and a food truck. The spacious sun deck, which also offers shaded areas, provides relaxation. Furthermore, the hotel has 7 bars (1 for Preferred Club guests), a café, and a small shopping arcade with various shops.

Junior Suite Tropical View

The tastefully furnished rooms have a bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, king-size bed or two double beds, wardrobe, furnished terrace or balcony, cable TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, direct dial telephone, telephone connection in the bathroom, coffee/tea maker, safe, steamer, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water, juice and beer). Can also be booked with pool view, partial sea view or direct sea view for an additional charge.

Preferred Club JS Tropical View

With the same amenities, the rooms are located in the Preferred Club area and offer: Personalized check-in and check-out, special concierge service, exclusive lounge/bar, upgraded minibar, pillow menu, as well as a private beach area and swimming pool. Can be booked with sea view for an additional charge.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

The Explorer Club offers children between 3 and 12 years old: a large play area, indoor playroom, large screen TV with TV and video games, climbing wall, PlayStation games, and a weekly adventure camp.

The club is open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM. All activities are supervised.
Core Zone Teens Club:
Sports and other activities are organized by the animation team in the Teen's sports area.
Billiards and video games are available for teenagers from 13 years old in the main area.
For babies, there is a kids' club near the beach where parents can play with their children, no supervision!
