Location

The hotel is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, right on the long, fine sandy beach of Playa Macao. It is approximately 35 minutes from Punta Cana airport and about 75 minutes from La Romana airport.

The modern resort features 500 rooms in three-story buildings, offering guests a highly comfortable stay. Culinary variety is provided by the various restaurants: a main buffet restaurant, a beach restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (e.g., Italian, Asian, French (adults-only), Mexican, and seafood specialties, no reservations required), as well as a food truck. The spacious sun deck, which also offers shaded areas, provides a place for relaxation. Furthermore, the hotel features 7 bars (one for Preferred Club guests), a café, and a small shopping arcade with various shops.

The tastefully furnished rooms feature a bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, king-size bed or two double beds, wardrobe, furnished terrace or balcony, cable TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, telephone in the bathroom, coffee/tea maker, safe, steamer, and minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water, juice, and beer). Also bookable with pool view, side sea view, or direct sea view for an additional charge.

Preferred Club JS Tropical View

With the same amenities, these rooms are located in the Preferred Club area and offer: personalized check-in and check-out, special concierge service, exclusive lounge/bar, upgraded minibar, pillow menu, as well as a private beach area and swimming pool. Bookable with sea view or as a swim-out for an additional charge.
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Core Zone Teens Club:
Sports and other activities are organized by the animation team in the teen sports area.
In the main area, teenagers aged 13 and over have access to billiards and video games.
For babies, there is a kids' club near the beach where parents can play with their children; no supervision provided!
