The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro. Restaurants, bars, and various shopping and entertainment options are in the vicinity. The Punta Cana International Airport is only 25 km away.

The Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Bavaro consists of 160 luxurious rooms. These are spread across several two-story bungalows within the newly designed hotel complex. The hotel features a private lobby with a reception and 3 restaurants, a beach restaurant, 2 bars, a swim-up bar (in Bavaro), a garden area with a lagoon-like pool landscape, a sun terrace, and a snack bar. Additionally, there is a private beach area with Balinese sun loungers for all Coral Level guests.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (approx. 45m²) feature a sleeping and living area with a sofa bed, coffee/tea maker, minibar (daily refill), air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, high-quality sound system, Wi-Fi, telephone, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, and balcony (JS2/JS1/KJ1/KJ2). Also available as Junior Suite Oceanfront (2JO/1JO) or Junior Suite Pool Access (2YZ/1YZ).

Junior Suite Superior

With the same amenities, these rooms are located close to the beach and pool (JU2/JU1). Bookable as Junior Suite Near Beach (JNB) from November 1, 2023.

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (approx. 90m²) feature two bedrooms with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. Bathroom with shower/WC, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, coffee machine, safe, minibar (daily refill), iron/ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and balcony with garden view (FJS/FK8/FK9).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds or one king-size bed (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; meaning occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Dinner is available in the à la carte restaurants (no reservation required in Coral, reservation required in others), international alcoholic and local non-alcoholic drinks at the respective open bars. Note

A wristband is required to use the All-Inclusive services.
Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants (no swimwear; long-sleeved shirts or shirts with short sleeves in à la carte restaurants). In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be open and integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
Features the Winnow system to reduce food waste, 3R devices for waste management in hotels, and installed drinking water fountains.
Guests staying in the Bávaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see and learn about corals. Thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel, where we work with our scientific team to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting plant. Organic waste is converted into compost, which we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the Bávaro complex, we have planted over 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of Environment.
Beehives are being rescued and brought to the apiary located in the complex, which can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Environmental Law Institute of the Dominican Republic, and the Blue Flag Program, the National Aquarium rescues turtles. Once they reach an appropriate size and health, they are released on the beaches of Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased presence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
