The Paradisus Grand Cana (formerly Falcons Resort by Melia) is separated from the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro only by the hotel grounds. Punta Cana International Airport is 30 km away. The Palma Real Shopping Center and the Cocotal 21-hole golf course are in the immediate vicinity.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For bookings of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means: 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between December and April, an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight level of background noise.
