The Paradisus Grand Cana (formerly Falcons Resort by Melia) is separated from the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro by just one hotel complex. Punta Cana International Airport is 30 km away. The Palma Real Shopping Center and the 21-hole Cocotal golf course are in the immediate vicinity.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; meaning: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Discounted green fees at the nearby Cocotal Golf & Country Club. The green fee includes a shared golf cart, practice balls for the driving range, tees, and drinks (water, soft drinks, and beer) during the golf round. Guests of the Meliá hotels benefit from reduced green fee rates starting from USD 83 per person (seasonal and depending on tee time). Round-trip transfer to the golf course is included for guests of the Meliá hotels. Taylormade rental clubs are available for a fee. Non-playing companions may participate for a fee. Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded during this time. The beach and the sea may be affected. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is required for this, which causes a slight background noise.
