This adults-only hotel, part of the overall Bavaro Resort complex by the Bahia Principe hotel chain, is located on Playa Bávaro beach (Higüey). It is 35 minutes from Punta Cana Airport, 90 minutes from La Romana Airport, and 55 minutes from Higüey. The beautiful white sandy beach, surrounded by tropical vegetation, is about a 10-minute walk away (shuttle service available every 10 minutes). This hotel is also ideal for golf enthusiasts, as it is located near 5 golf courses in the region.

This well-maintained 5-star property of the hotel chain features 498 Junior Suites and offers its guests the following amenities: a main restaurant and two à la carte specialty restaurants. The restaurants are air-conditioned. Large sun terraces. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Guests can use the facilities of the 2 sister hotels, Grand Bavaro and Grand Punta Cana, as well as the new leisure area with a gym and a new sports bar. Guests of Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine have access to the facilities and restaurants of all Grand Hotels within the Bahia Principe Bavaro Complex, with the exception of the buffet restaurants. Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally committed to cleaning affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
