The adults-only hotel within the overall Bavaro Resort complex of the Bahia Principe hotel chain is located on Playa Bávaro (Higüey), 35 minutes from Punta Cana Airport, 90 minutes from La Romana Airport, and 55 minutes from Higüey. The wonderful white sandy beach, surrounded by tropical vegetation, is about a 10-minute walk away (shuttle service is offered every 10 minutes). Among other things, this hotel is ideal for golf enthusiasts as it is located near 5 golf courses in the region.

Ideal hotel for active and young-at-heart guests with theme days and pool parties. Modern sports offerings such as TRX and modern gastronomy. The well-maintained 5-star complex of the hotel chain has 498 Junior Suites and offers its guests the following amenities: a main restaurant, two à la carte specialty restaurants. The restaurants are air-conditioned. Large sun terraces. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are free of charge by the pool and on the beach. The facilities of the 2 sister hotels Grand Bavaro and Grand Punta Cana, as well as the new leisure area with a gym and a new sports bar, can be shared. Guests of Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine have access to the facilities and restaurants of all Grand Hotels within the Bahia Principe Bavaro complex, with the exception of the buffet restaurants. Guests also have access to the à la carte restaurants and the sports bar of Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar.

Junior Suite

The approximately 27 m² Junior Suites with a seating area have 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, a bathroom with hydromassage bathtub and shower, hairdryer, vanity mirror, air conditioning, iron and ironing board, minibar, safe, Wi-Fi in the room, flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and balcony or terrace (JS2/JS1).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal Note

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates some noise.
