The resort is located on Playa Arena Gorda, one of the most beautiful beaches in Playa Bavaro, and is perfectly integrated into the lush flora of the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is 25 km (approx. 25 minutes) away. Santo Domingo Airport is approx. 2 hours away.

Junior Suite

The spacious rooms, decorated in colonial style, are 50 sqm and feature 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, a full bathroom with whirlpool, American shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, internet access (free of charge), minibar (soft drinks, beer, and water included), safe, ironing board and iron, coffee maker, balcony or terrace with garden or pool view. Also available as a Junior Suite with sea view and whirlpool).

Majestic Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Junior Suites, these are located on the ground floor and feature room service, a whirlpool in the bathroom and on the terrace, and direct pool access (no private pool or shared pool).

Colonial Club Junior Suite

These rooms have the same amenities as the Junior Suites and are located in the adults-only area. Amenities in the adults-only area include a private check-in area, 1 bottle of champagne upon arrival, 24-hour room service, 2 swimming pools with swim-up bars (premium drinks included), an exclusive beach area with Balinese beds. Ocean front available at an additional charge. Also bookable with Jacuzzi (CJ2).

Colonial Club Junior Suite Oceanview(PUJA39)

These comfortable junior suites feature both a whirlpool and a sea view (2CO).

Colonial Club Majestic JS Swimup

These 50 sqm suites are located on the first floor in the adults-only area and feature an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, as well as a private garden with direct access to the pool, along with Colonial Club amenities (WC2).

Colonial Club Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 98 sqm suites have the same amenities as the junior suites but are more spacious and have a Jacuzzi. Garden or pool view and Colonial Club amenities (GC2).

Colonial Club Colonial Juniorsuite Ocean Front (From W22/23)

These suites are on the 3rd floor and have the same amenities with Colonial Club amenities.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation! Upon request, additional single beds can be provided subject to availability.

In the Dominican Republic, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the main living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of special equipment, which may produce some noise.
