The resort is located on Playa Arena Gorda, one of the most beautiful beaches in Playa Bavaro, and is perfectly integrated into the lush flora of the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is 25 km away (approx. 25 minutes). Santo Domingo Airport is approximately 2 hours away.

This luxury resort was designed in a Caribbean style and features 658 rooms with very elegant furnishings. General amenities include 7 restaurants, including 5 à-la-carte restaurants (seafood, Caribbean, Oriental, steakhouse, and a gourmet restaurant for adults only), 14 bars (including a pool bar, snack bar, beach bar, and piano bar), a casino, disco, theater, convention center, 7 shops (souvenirs, clothing, cigars, etc.), and a 400 m² lake-style pool landscape with 7 pools. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool/beach towels are included.

Junior Suite

These spacious colonial-style rooms are 50 m² and feature 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, a full bathroom with a whirlpool tub, American-style shower, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, internet access (complimentary), minibar (soft drinks, beer, and water included), safe, ironing board and iron, coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool views. Also bookable as a Junior Suite with ocean view and whirlpool.

Majestic Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the standard Junior Suites, these rooms are located on the ground floor and feature room service, a whirlpool in the bathroom and on the terrace, and direct access to the pool (no private or sharing pool).
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types for safety reasons.

Colonial Club Junior Suite

These rooms have the same amenities as the Junior Suites and are located in the adults-only section. Benefits of the adults-only area include a private check-in area, 1 bottle of champagne upon arrival, 24-hour room service, 2 swimming pools with swim-up bars (premium drinks included), and an exclusive beach area with Bali beds. Ocean front available at a surcharge. Also bookable with a Jacuzzi (CJ2).

Colonial Club Junior Suite Oceanview(PUJA39)

These comfortable junior suites feature both a whirlpool and ocean views (2CO).

Colonial Club Majestic JS Swim Up

These 50m² suites are located on the ground floor in the adults-only area and feature an indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, a private garden with direct pool access, and all Colonial Club amenities (WC2).

Colonial Club Suite Jacuzzi

These approx. 98m² suites feature the same amenities as the Junior Suites but are more spacious and include a Jacuzzi. They offer garden or pool views and Colonial Club amenities (GC2).

Colonial Club Colonial Juniorsuite Ocean Front (From W22/23)

These suites are located on the 3rd floor and feature the same amenities along with the Colonial Club benefits.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40m x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds are provided; the occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation. Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased presence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased accumulation of brown algae in the Caribbean is common during this time, which may affect the beach and the ocean. The hotel management and local authorities make every effort to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the local municipalities. This requires the use of heavy machinery, which may cause some noise.
