The resort is located on Playa Arena Gorda, one of the most beautiful beaches in Playa Bavaro, and is perfectly integrated into the beautiful flora of the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is 25 km (approx. 25 minutes) away. Santo Domingo Airport is approx. 2 hours away.

The luxury resort was designed in a Caribbean style and has 658 rooms with very elegant furnishings. General facilities include 7 restaurants, 5 of which are à-la-carte restaurants (seafood, Caribbean cuisine, Oriental, steakhouse, gourmet restaurant for adults only), 14 bars (including a pool bar, snack bar, beach bar, piano bar), a casino, disco, theater, congress center, 7 shops (souvenirs, clothing, cigars, etc.), and a 400 m² lake-style pool landscape with 7 pools; sun umbrellas, sun loungers, and pool towels are included at the pool and beach.

Junior Suite

The spacious, colonial-style rooms are 50 m² and feature 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, a full bathroom with whirlpool tub, American-style shower, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, internet access (free), minibar (soft drinks, beer, and water included), safe, ironing board and iron, coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool views. Also bookable as a Junior Suite with sea view and whirlpool.

Majestic Junior Suite

With the same features as the Junior Suites, these are located on the ground floor and include room service, a whirlpool in the bathroom and on the terrace, and direct pool access (not a private or sharing pool).
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Colonial Club Junior Suite

These rooms have the same facilities as the Junior Suites and are located in the adults-only area. Amenities of the adults-only area include a private check-in area, 1 bottle of champagne upon arrival, 24-hour room service, 2 swimming pools with swim-up bars (premium drinks included), and an exclusive beach area, each with Bali beds. Ocean front available at an extra charge. Also bookable with a Jacuzzi (CJ2).

Colonial Club Junior Suite Oceanview(PUJA39)

These comfortable Junior Suites feature both a whirlpool and sea view (2CO).

Colonial Club Majestic JS Swim Up

These 50m² suites are located on the first floor in the adults-only area and feature indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, as well as a private garden with direct access to the pool and the amenities of the Colonial Club (WC2).

Colonial Club Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 98m² suites have the same features as the Junior Suites but are more spacious and have a Jacuzzi. Garden or pool views and Colonial Club amenities (GC2).

These suites are on the 3rd floor and have the same features with Colonial Club amenities.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased amount of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently observed during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the local municipalities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight level of noise.
