The tastefully decorated holiday complex, built in Caribbean style, is situated amidst a beautiful tropical garden with an elegant lobby and reception. It also features an extensive pool landscape with 7 freshwater pools (one pool exclusively for UNIQUE guests and one pool exclusively for Adults-only guests), including an infinity pool, sun/sitting terrace, loungers, and pool bar. "The Boulevard" forms the attractive center for entertainment and is an exclusive area with leisure and shopping facilities, theme restaurants, a casino, and a disco. Additionally, an amphitheater with a capacity of 790 people ensures a unique holiday experience. Afterwards, pass the time in the water park, which guarantees fun for all ages. Further facilities include 12 restaurants, of which 7 are à la carte (Adults-only steakhouse, Asian, Mexican, Italian, French, Mediterranean, American), 2 buffet restaurants, two hotel-owned beach clubs (1 exclusively for UNIQUE guests), a fast-food restaurant opposite the water park, and 17 bars.

Junior Suite Preferred Location

The rooms are located in a prime location near the beach and feature Tropical View. They are equipped with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, 50-inch satellite TV, telephone, safe, coffee maker, minibar, iron/ironing board, bathrobes, slippers, and a balcony or terrace. Pool View or Ocean View (partial sea view) are available for an extra charge.

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Junior Suites Preferred Location, these rooms may also be located in other parts of the hotel complex. The rooms feature a balcony with garden view.

Junior Suite Swim Out (PUJ933)

The rooms have Tropical/Pool View and are equipped with a king-size bed and a sofa bed or two queen-size beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, 50-inch satellite TV, telephone, safe, coffee maker, minibar, bathrobes, slippers, and a terrace with direct access to the pool.

Unique Junior Suite Tropical (PUJ933)

Equipped like the Junior Suite and with additional access to the private "UNIQUE at Lopesan Costa Bavaro" area, where services such as a private beach club with a restaurant (including waiter service on the beach) can be used. Ocean View (partial sea view) or Swim Out are also available at an extra charge.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Other rooms can be booked under hotel codes PUJ833 and PUJ933.
A wristband is required to use the All-Inclusive services. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be restrictions on restaurant opening hours. Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants (no swimwear; long trousers and shirt in the French à la carte restaurant).
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause a slight noise.
