The VIK Hotel Group complex is located directly on the long, fine sandy beach of Playa Bavaro. Distance from the airport approx. 30 min, from the shopping center "Plaza Bavaro" approx. 5 min.

The tastefully decorated holiday complex has a Caribbean-style lobby, reception, 5 bars, buffet restaurant, à la carte restaurant, beach restaurant, souvenir shop, minimarket, boutique, VIK Spa (wellness, fitness), internet service (partially for a fee). The 447 rooms are located in 5 buildings, each with 3 floors, grouped around the swimming pool landscape with sun terrace and loungers, pool/beach bar. Pool/beach towels, umbrellas and loungers are included by the pool and on the beach.
VIK hotel Cayena Beach is a luxurious VIP area and exclusively accessible to guests accommodated there. The complex has 47 exclusive deluxe suites on 3 levels, a separate reception, a tropical restaurant with a bar, a private pool with a pool bar and sun deck. Loungers are included on the private beach section. Guests of the Cayena Beach Club have access to all facilities of the entire complex.

Double Room Superior

Modern rooms with bath/shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, American cable TV (Deut.Welle), telephone, safe (rental fee), minibar (daily refill of water included), Wi-Fi (for a fee) and balcony (DSU/DEU/KDS/UK2).

Family Suite

Same amenities as the Double Room Superior, but with an additional separate room with sleeping facilities (SF2/SF3/KF3/KF4/KF6).

Family Suite Superior

With the same amenities as the Family Suite, these are more modernly furnished (3FF/2FF).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Wearing a bracelet is necessary to make use of the All-Inclusive services. No pets allowed. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be exceptional restrictions on the opening of restaurants (excluding the main restaurant). Appropriate attire is required in the restaurants.
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal Note

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight background noise.
