Veranda cabins offer a sense of freedom right outside your cabin door. With 16–20 m² of interior space and a generous outdoor area of 4–16 m², a harmonious mix of living comfort and fresh sea air is created. A private veranda with a hammock, flexible sleeping arrangements, and a modern bathroom with a shower transform this area into a personal favorite spot – ideal for unwinding.

More space for real vacation moments: Veranda cabins Comfort offer around 20 m² of living space and a spacious veranda (4–16 m²), ideal for relaxing hours in the fresh sea air. The hammock on the veranda makes the view of the sea a perfect moment of enjoyment.

This may also include accessible cabins, cabins with twin beds, obstructed views, or connecting doors. Special cabin requests cannot be taken into account; later rebookings or changes are excluded.

Booking for children under 2 years
Booking can only be made upon request. Initially, an option without infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 persons, including baby. Subsequently, a binding request with all required data is sent via e-mail. If no option is available, a booking request via e-mail is recommended.

Important note:

Lopesan Splash Cove

Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, approximately 720 m from the beach and situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. Punta Cana International Airport is only about 18 km away, ensuring a short, pleasant journey. La Romana Airport is located about 50 km away. A bus stop is within easy reach in about 1 km.

Facilities

Opened in 2026, the Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino is nestled in a tropical garden of approximately 110,000 m². The modern, open-plan facility with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with short distances and a versatile offer for families with children of all age groups. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape with a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, a wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water games. The offer is complemented by expansive sun terraces with loungers and parasols as well as complimentary towels at the pools and beach. Culinarially, guests enjoy a wide selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant as well as several à la carte restaurants with Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan living concept covering approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace opens up a magnificent view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to linger. Further amenities include air conditioning, minibar (small refrigerator), combination coffee/tea maker, Smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom is equipped with a toilet, single sink, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and vanity mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With identical facilities, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with queen-size bed (YO2) or with king-size bed (FJP).

With otherwise identical features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up offer approx. 56 m² of living space as well as a private terrace with direct access to the communal pool (FJU). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased incidence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This, however, requires the use of appropriate equipment, which creates a slight background noise.
