Veranda cabin

The veranda cabins offer a feeling of freedom right outside the cabin door. On 16–20 m² of interior space and a spacious outdoor area of 4–16 m², a harmonious mix of living comfort and fresh sea air is created. A private veranda with a hammock, flexible sleeping arrangements and a modern bathroom with a shower turn this area into a personal favorite spot – ideal for unwinding.

This can also include accessible cabins, cabins with separate beds, restricted view or connecting doors. Special cabin requests cannot be taken into account; later rebookings or changes are excluded.

Booking children under 2 years old
The booking can only be made on request. Initially, an option without an infant is created. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 people incl. baby. Subsequently, a binding request with all required data is sent via email. If no option is available, a booking request via email is recommended.

Important note:
Persons residing in areas sanctioned by OFAC are excluded from participating in cruises. Citizens of Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Ukraine can only be transported with proof of permanent residence outside the mentioned regions.

Lopesan Splash Cove

Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, about 720 m from the beach and is situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. The Punta Cana International Airport is only about 18 km away and ensures a short, pleasant journey. La Romana Airport is around 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible in about 1 km.

Facilities

Opened in 2026, the Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino is nestled in an approximately 110,000 m² tropical garden. The modern, open-plan complex with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with short distances and a versatile range of offers for families with children of all age groups. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape with a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, wave pool as well as the Splash Island Waterpark with slides and water games. The offer is complemented by extensive sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols as well as free towels at the pools and on the beach. Culinarically, guests enjoy a large selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant as well as several à la carte restaurants with Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei and Indian cuisine. Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan living concept of approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, sofa bed and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace opens up a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to linger. Further equipment includes air conditioning, minibar (small refrigerator), combined coffee/tea maker, smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area as well as iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom has a WC, single sink, walk-in shower, hairdryer and vanity mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With the same equipment, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with queen-size bed (YO2) or with king-size bed (FJP).

Family JS Waterpark View-Queen

With the same equipment, also bookable with a view of the water park. Either with queen-size bed (FWQ) or with king-size bed (FJW).

Family JS Swim Up-Queen

With otherwise identical equipment features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up have approx. 56 m² of living space as well as a private terrace with direct access to the communal pool (FJU). Also bookable with king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, at Schauinsland-Reisen, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies to bookings of these room types for children.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature and currents. In particular, an increased incidence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. In this case, the beach and the sea are affected. The hotel management and local authorities are of course striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. This, however, requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise level.
