With 16–20 m² of interior space and a generous outdoor area of 4–16 m², they create a harmonious blend of living comfort and fresh sea air. More space for real holiday moments: The Veranda Cabins Comfort offer around 20 m² of living space and a spacious veranda (4–16 m²), ideal for relaxed hours in the fresh sea air. Modern amenities, a stylish bathroom, and special features – from a walk-in closet to separate areas for the shower and toilet – create a particularly pleasant living experience. Booking is only possible on request. An option without an infant will be created first. Please note: the maximum occupancy in all cabin categories is 4 people including the baby. Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites

Location

The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro. Restaurants, bars, and various shopping and entertainment facilities are nearby. The international airport of Punta Cana is only 25 km away.

Completely renovated for the 19/20 winter season, the Iberostar Selection Bavaro comprises a total of 598 rooms that leave nothing to be desired. They are spread across several two-story bungalows within the tropical gardens of the hotel complex. Furthermore, the hotel features a lobby with reception, a buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (Greek, Gourmet, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and Steakhouse), a beach restaurant, 5 bars, a swim-up bar, a garden area with a lagoon-like pool landscape, a sun terrace, and a snack bar.

The Junior Suites feature a sleeping and living area with a sofa bed, coffee/tea maker, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, Wi-Fi (incl.), telephone, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, and balcony or terrace (JS2/JS1/KJ1/KJ2). Also available as an Oceanfront Junior Suite (2JO) and in winter as a Super Saver Room (SSZ/SSE).

Junior Suite Tropical View

With the same amenities and size as the Junior Suites, these are closer to the sea and additionally offer turndown service (once per stay), garden or pool view (PTZ). Also available closer to the pool as a Junior Suite Near Pool (NPS). Also available closer to the beach as a Junior Suite Near Beach (JNB) or in the first row with sea view as a Junior Suite Ocean Front (2JO).

Family Suite

With otherwise identical amenities and size to the Junior Suites, these consist of two Junior Suites with a connecting door (2FS/KF3/KF5/KF6).

Spa Junior Suite

With the same amenities and size as the Junior Suites, featuring a king-size bed or two double beds, tea set, bathrobes (J2F).

Zusatzhinweis

Features the Winnow system to reduce food waste, 3R devices for
waste management in hotels and installed drinking water fountains.
Guests staying in the Bávaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see and learn about corals.
Thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel where we are working with our scientific team to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting plant. Organic waste is converted into compost that we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the
Bávaro complex, we have planted over 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of Environment.
Beehives are being rescued and brought to the apiary, which we have in the complex and which can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Environmental Law Institute of the
Dominican Republic, and the Blue Flag program, the National Aquarium is rescuing turtles. Once they reach an adequate size and health, they are released on the beaches of the Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, due to wind, temperature, and currents, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae. In particular, brown algae are frequently found in the Caribbean during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
