Location

The hotel is located in the Juan Dolio district, directly on a gently sloping, fine sandy beach with offshore coral reefs. Shops and bars are nearby. Santo Domingo Airport is about 30 minutes away, and Punta Cana Airport is about 2.5 hours from Juan Dolio. The "Guavaberry" Golf and Country Club is approximately 5 km away.

General facilities include a lobby, the "Ambar" buffet restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants serving Mediterranean and Dominican cuisine, 3 bars (including a snack bar, pool bar, 24-hour sports bar), a nightclub, the "Cacao" theatre, a mini-market, lounge areas, 2 swimming pools with sun terrace, sun loungers and towels (included, also on the beach), a whirlpool, and a children's pool.

The rooms are decorated in Caribbean style and feature a bath/shower, WC, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, rental safe, and a balcony with garden view (DSU/DEU).

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Room (DD2/DD1), these rooms offer limited pool or sea views.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local municipalities. This, however, requires the use of equipment that generates some noise.
