Location

The hotel in the Juan Dolio district is located directly on the gently sloping, fine sandy beach with coral reefs offshore. Shops and bars nearby. The airports of Santo Domingo are approx. 30 minutes away, and Punta Cana approx. 2.5 hours from Juan Dolio. The "Guavaberry" Golf and Country Club is about 5 km away.

General facilities include a reception hall, the "Ambar" buffet restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants with Mediterranean and Dominican cuisine, 3 bars (including snack bar, pool bar, 24-hour sports bar), nightclub, "Cacao" theater, mini-market, lounges, 2 swimming pools with sun terrace, loungers and towels (included, also on the beach), a whirlpool, and a children's pool.

The rooms, decorated in Caribbean style, have a bathroom/shower, toilet, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, safety deposit box (rental fee), and a balcony with garden view (DSU/DEU).

With the same amenities as the Double Room Superior (DD2/DD1), these rooms offer limited pool or sea views.

Double Room Deluxe Type A

These are Double Rooms Deluxe at the daily prevailing rate (DDA).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a double occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children / 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the "Ambar" buffet restaurant. Dinner is also possible in the à la carte restaurant upon reservation (steak dishes/lobster at an extra charge/reservation required). Children's menus available in all à la carte restaurants. 24-hour snacks, table wine with meals, unlimited national alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Drinks and entry to the "Boom" disco are included.

An armband must be worn to avail of the all-inclusive services. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be restrictions on restaurant opening hours (except for the main restaurant).
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the living area of the hotel room without a separate partition.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of equipment that may produce some noise.
