Location

Boca Chica is located approx. 30 km from Santo Domingo. The small town is situated on a bay, approx. 2 km long, protected by a reef with a fine sandy beach. The hotel is located directly on the bay near the town with its diverse entertainment options, and it is 5 km to the harbor. The distance to Punta Cana Airport is a 3-hour drive.

Facilities

The 225 rooms of the attractive holiday complex are spread across several 3- and 4-story buildings. The main building houses the reception with internet service. The hotel features 2 buffet restaurants, an open-air buffet restaurant, and two themed restaurants with reservations (Mexican and Italian), 2 bars, a hairdresser and cosmetics salon, a souvenir shop, and a disco. In the garden facing the beach, there are 2 freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces, a beach club, and 1 bar/snackbar. Sunbeds and beach towels (20 USD deposit) are included by the pool and on the beach.

Double room

The rooms are friendly and comfortably furnished in Caribbean style and equipped with bath/WC, Wi-Fi (incl.), air conditioning, direct dial telephone, TV, safe for rent, and a balcony. Rooms with partial sea view and sea view are bookable at an additional charge.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight background noise.
