Location

Boca Chica is located approximately 30 km from Santo Domingo. The small town is situated on a bay, approximately 2 km long, protected by a reef with fine sandy beaches. The hotel is located directly on the bay near the town with its diverse entertainment options, and is 5 km from the harbor. The distance to Punta Cana Airport is 3 hours by car.

Facilities

The 225 rooms of the attractive holiday complex are spread across several 3- and 4-story buildings. The main building houses the reception with internet service. The hotel features 2 buffet restaurants, an open-air buffet restaurant, and two themed restaurants with reservations (Mexican and Italian), 2 bars, a hairdresser and cosmetics salon, a souvenir shop, and a discotheque. In the garden facing the beach, there are 2 freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces, a beach club, and 1 bar/snackbar. Sun loungers and beach towels (USD 20 deposit) are included by the pool and on the beach.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
