Location

The adults-only hotel Secrets La Romana is located directly on the beach on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe is about a 10-minute walk away. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive away.

The luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, features a total of 356 rooms and is set amidst extensive tropical gardens lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a souvenir shop, and various shopping facilities. For your culinary enjoyment, there are five restaurants, including grill specialties on the beach and a pizzeria by the pool. The luxurious hotel also offers five bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The stunning outdoor area boasts a spacious pool landscape with two pools, a swim-up bar, and a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This can affect the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
