Location

Located directly on the palm-fringed beach of La Romana. La Romana Airport is approx. 20 km away. The small fishing village of Bayahibe and the popular national park "Parque Nacional del Este" are in the vicinity and invite excursions.

The hotel consists of a total of 211 rooms, perfectly integrated into the landscape and surrounded by tropical gardens. The resort's amenities include a reception, a large pool area with a bar and sun terrace and loungers, a separate pool with a whirlpool, and a chill-out area with Balinese beds. Culinary delights are provided by a total of 5 restaurants (including gourmet, Italian, Asian, and snack bar) and 4 different bars (lobby bar, pool bar, and beach bar). In addition, the Privilege area, the pool area, and the themed restaurants of Catalonia Bayahibe (steakhouse, Caribbean, Italian (reservation required)) can be used. Loungers, umbrellas, and pool and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Double Superior

All rooms (approx. 35 sqm) are modern and elegantly furnished and equipped with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), safe (incl.), free minibar (stocked with soft drinks, beer, and snacks), coffee making facilities, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DEU).

Junior Suite Superior

They have the same amenities as the Double Superior, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 39 sqm) and have a view of the pool area (JU2) (only bookable in summer).

Deluxe Junior Suite

They are even larger (approx. 45 sqm) and have a larger balcony (J2D) (only bookable in summer).

Romance Deluxe

With similar amenities to the Deluxe Junior Suite, the Romance Deluxe room (approx. 37 sqm) offers a large terrace (approx. 8 sqm) and a modern bathroom with an oval bathtub and panoramic view. Romantic extras such as lovely room decoration, a welcome amenity with fruit, a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates, a private dinner per stay (location may vary), and a 25-minute couples massage make the stay a special experience.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal Note

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, increased amounts of brown algae are often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight background noise.
