Located directly on the palm-fringed beach of La Romana. La Romana Airport is approximately 20 km away. The small fishing village of Bayahibe and the popular "Parque Nacional del Este" national park are in the immediate vicinity and invite you to go on excursions.

The hotel consists of a total of 211 rooms that blend perfectly into the landscape and are surrounded by tropical gardens. Amenities of the resort include a reception, a large pool area with a bar, a sun terrace with loungers, a separate pool with a whirlpool, and a chill-out area with Bali beds. Culinary delights are provided by a total of 5 restaurants (including gourmet, Italian, Asian, and a snack bar) and 4 different bars (lobby bar, pool bar, and beach bar). In addition, guests can use the Privilege area, pool facilities, and themed restaurants of the Catalonia Bayahibe (steakhouse, Caribbean, Italian - reservation required). Sun loungers, parasols, and pool/beach towels are available free of charge.

All rooms (approx. 35 m²) are modern and elegantly furnished and equipped with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), safe (incl.), complimentary minibar (stocked with soft drinks, beer, and snacks), coffee-making facilities, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU/DEU).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local municipalities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight level of noise.
