Location

The hotel is located in a prime area of the Samana Peninsula, directly between the bays of Bahia de Samana and Bahia Escocesa, which boast beautiful nature with tropical sandy beaches. The resort is approx. 171 km from Santo Domingo Airport and approx. 1 hour from Samana Airport. From January to March, the bays offer a unique natural spectacle as many humpback whales meet here to mate.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. Brown algae are particularly common in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
