Location

The hotel is located in a prime area of the Samana Peninsula, directly between the bays of Bahia de Samana and Bahia Escocesa, which feature beautiful nature with tropical sandy beaches. The complex is approx. 171 km from Santo Domingo Airport and approx. 1 hour from Samana Airport. From January to March, the bays offer a unique natural phenomenon as many humpback whales meet here for mating.

Seasonal Note

For stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause a slight noise.
