The hotel is located directly on the beautiful Playa Dorada beach. The center of Puerto Plata can be reached in approx. 10 minutes by car, the international airport in approx. 25 minutes by car. The exclusive Playa Dorada Golf Club is only 300m from the hotel.

The hotel, designed in Caribbean and Victorian style, offers a total of 506 rooms and suites and features a lobby with reception, a beautiful pool and garden landscape with 2 pools with a pool bar and an integrated children's pool, a floodlit tennis court, a fitness center with sauna, a beauty salon, conference rooms (capacity 200 people), a buffet restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (fish and grill, Italian, Caribbean) and several bars. Sun loungers and sun umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

With low hotel occupancy, there may be temporary closures of various restaurants in exceptional cases.
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be open and integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal Note

When staying between April and December, increased occurrence of seaweed and algae can occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased amount of brown algae is often recorded in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates some noise.
