The 160-hectare luxury oasis, The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, is nestled amidst banana plantations on the west coast of Tenerife in Guia de Isora, approximately 35 km from Reina Sofia International Airport. Due to its favorable location on the gently sloping hills of the Pico del Teide volcano, guests enjoy a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of La Gomera. The resort blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings with its unique architecture, sits directly on the 18-hole golf course, and a 200 m long white sandy beach is located below the hotel.

The five-star deluxe resort belongs to The Ritz-Carlton hotel chain. The main building was constructed in the style of a Moorish citadel with 318 rooms and suites, while the exclusive "The Retreat" accommodations are located in the garden with an additional 144 rooms and suites.
"The Retreat" is terraced, with each level featuring its own pool.
For the internationally renowned architect Melvin Villarroel, connecting architecture and vegetation with Feng Shui components was of great importance.
The hotel features a lobby bar, a café, and 8 restaurants, including the gourmet restaurant "M.B", managed by seven-star chef Martin Berasategui and awarded two Michelin stars, as well as Spain’s first "Akira Back" restaurant, known for its modern Japanese cuisine and supported by award-winning head chef Akira Back. There are also various theme restaurants, including the Italian restaurant "Verona" and the Spanish restaurant "Txoko" by star chef Martin Berasategui.
In the subtropical garden landscape featuring 90,000 palm trees and around 300 different types of plants, there are a total of 7 freshwater swimming pools (including the new Serenity Pool for guests aged 13 and older), an exclusive sandy beach, 2 natural rock swimming pools with seawater, and a beach club.
Sun loungers, cushions, parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge at the pool and the hotel's own beach section.

Breakfast buffet at the "La Veranda" restaurant; for guests of the Retreat rooms, also available at "El Mirador".
When booking half or full board, guests aged 4 and older receive a resort credit, which can be used in all restaurants (varying opening hours).
