The 160-hectare luxury oasis, The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, is located amidst banana plantations on the west coast of Tenerife in Guia de Isora, approximately 35 km from Reina Sofia International Airport. Due to its favorable location on the gently sloping hills of the Pico del Teide volcano, you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of La Gomera. With its unique architecture, the resort blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings; it is situated directly on an 18-hole golf course, and below the hotel is a 200 m long white sandy beach.

The five-star deluxe property belongs to The Ritz-Carlton hotel chain. The main building was built in the style of a Moorish citadel with 318 rooms and suites, while the exclusive "The Retreat" accommodations are nestled in the gardens with an additional 144 rooms and suites.
"The Retreat" is terraced, with each level featuring its own pool.
For internationally renowned architect Melvin Villarroel, combining architecture and vegetation with Feng Shui components was of great importance.
The hotel features a lobby bar, a café, and 8 restaurants, including the gourmet restaurant "M.B.", managed by seven-star chef Martin Berasategui and awarded two Michelin stars, and Spain's first "Akira Back" restaurant, known for its modern Japanese cuisine and supported by award-winning chef Akira Back, as well as various themed restaurants, including the Italian restaurant "Verona" and the Spanish restaurant "Txoko" by star chef Martin Berasategui.
In the subtropical garden landscape with 90,000 palm trees and around 300 different plant species, there are a total of 7 freshwater swimming pools (including the new Serenity Pool for guests aged 13 and over), an exclusive sandy beach, 2 natural seawater rock pools, and a beach club.
Sun loungers, pads, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and the hotel's own beach section.

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast buffet in the "La Veranda" restaurant; for guests of the Retreat rooms, also available at "El Mirador".
When booking half or full board, guests aged 4 and over receive a resort credit, which can be used in all restaurants (different opening times apply).
In the restaurants "M.B." and "Akira Back", children aged 6 and over may participate in dinner.
The resort credit cannot be used for room service or beverages; unused credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and expires.
Gala dinner on December 31st is mandatory.
