Location

The hotel is located directly on the small Las Coloradas beach cove, opposite the "Museo Atlantico" underwater museum, between the fishing village of Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches on the edge of the nature reserve in the south of Lanzarote.
On a clear day, you have an excellent view of the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura and can watch the impressive sunsets.
The "Marina Rubicon" sports harbor is about 1 km away.
You can reach the town of Playa Blanca in approx. 3 km.
The Papagayo beaches are approx. 600 m away. The airport is approx. 35 km away.

The Sandos Papagayo Hotel consists of 488 rooms, including 15 junior suites, set in a large main building and 7 guest houses.
The main building houses the reception and 4 restaurants, as well as a snack grill in the pool area.
The international buffet restaurant with terrace offers show cooking and daily specialties, with the Italian restaurant "Pizzeria Veneto" directly attached.
A reservation is required for the Fusion restaurant, which features a rotating buffet (Asian and Tex-Mex).
There are five bars (including a pool bar) and a chill-out terrace with magnificent views of Fuerteventura and Lobos.
The complex has 2 freshwater pools for families (1 can be heated in winter), 1 children's pool (can be heated in winter), a freshwater pool for adults only, and a spacious sun terrace with free sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and towels (included for the pool).
Other facilities include various shops, a souvenir shop, a games room, and a TV room.

Superior Double Room

All rooms are modernly furnished (approx. 39 m²), very spacious, and have a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, a safe (for a fee), a sofa bed (for the 3rd and/or 4th person), a hairdryer, flatscreen TV, telephone, air conditioning, minibar (on request for a fee), coffee/tea-making facilities, and a furnished balcony/terrace. (DSU bookable year-round/DSB only bookable in summer.)
Also available for single use (DEU) or with sea view (DMU/DME).

Royal Elite Room

Modern rooms with direct sea view (approx. 39 m²).
Evening turndown service with goodnight chocolate, minibar with water and soft drinks on arrival day (daily refill with mineral or still water thereafter), 1 bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival.
Pool towels in the room, bathrobe and slippers, candles in the bathroom, sweets and candies for the children, Nespresso machine, kettle for instant coffee and tea service with refill (as consumed).
Safe (included) as well as breakfast and dinner in a private restaurant with table drink service.
In addition, exclusive access to two Royal Elite lounges (one for families and one for adults only) and access to the Royal Elite chill-out terrace with spectacular sea views. (RZ2/RZ3)

Family Room (ACEA12)

The approx. 44 m² family rooms feature a living room with a sofa bed and a bedroom separated by a sliding door with two single beds and a double sofa bed. Other amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), satellite TV, a bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer, and a balcony (DF2/SSF/DFI/2FC).

Super Saver Room

Same equipment as the Superior Double Room, but with limited availability, not in a preferred location, and without sea view. (SSZ)

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Included 24 hours a day. Hot and cold snacks, water, soft drinks, wine, and beer from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM only at the snack pool bar. Please refer to the hotel's on-site information book for all exact times. Coffee, tea, and cake from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Sports included

The daily entertainment program includes aerobics, aqua aerobics, tennis, table tennis, darts, archery and pistol shooting, and volleyball.
A multi-purpose sports court and a hard-surface tennis court are available for this.
The hotel is bicycle-friendly and has a bike storage room, as well as a workbench and washing station.
The hotel offers weekly guided hikes into the "Ajache" area and to the "Papagayo" beaches.
