Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambience for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some cabins have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and generous sense of space make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialities from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the "Tutti a Tavola" family restaurant and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (some for a fee and by reservation). The dining times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café and two Amarillo ice cream parlours. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied culinary moments for every taste.

In addition to full board, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of day. This includes cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialities from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialities. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underlines the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness centre with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation and a holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness centre (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness programme to be flexibly organised even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure programme in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity programme.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. Thus, young guests will find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) covers around 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Amenities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium and several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty and massage treatments that invite you to relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambience.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theatre, live music, a piano bar, a discotheque and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse on-board programme offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and swimming fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 metres, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa.
