Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some twin beds are available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda feature a large window or partial portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious room feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a wonderful view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partially for a fee and with reservation). Meal times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is supplemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drink package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and emphasizes the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a wonderful ocean view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court as well as a jogging track are available and offer numerous opportunities for exercise and sporting balance in the fresh air. This way, activity, relaxation, and holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This way, your personal fitness program can also be flexibly designed during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, as well as several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty, and massage treatments that invite you to relaxing time-outs and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco, and a casino for guests 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events, and other onboard events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected; the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This can include cabins with twin beds, connecting doors, restricted view, or barrier-free cabins. Meal times in the main restaurants are also determined by Costa.

The well-known adults-only hotel (bookable from 16 years) with 245 rooms, spread over 7 floors, features a lobby with reception, lifts, bar lounge with terrace, library, internet corner, and free Wi-Fi throughout the complex, a main restaurant with a large terrace, as well as a pizzeria (open for lunch) and a café.
The facilities also include the well-kept and spacious garden with lush palm trees and 2 swimming pools (one can be heated in winter) and a pool bar with an adjoining à-la-carte restaurant (open for lunch).
On the roof, there is a sun terrace (accessible via stairs) with sun loungers and a whirlpool, as well as a separate nudist area with sun loungers and a whirlpool.
