Location

This attractive country house was built in colonial style and is situated in a quiet location in the middle of a banana plantation at the foot of the approx. 400-meter-high "Montaña de Arucas". In addition to its banana plantations, Arucas is also known for sugar cane cultivation, from which the famous Arucas rum is distilled, as well as for the Gothic San Juan Bautista Cathedral, which dates back to 1909. The city center with shopping and entertainment venues as well as bars and restaurants can be reached after about 2 kilometers. Guests can reach a public transport stop in just a few minutes' walk. The famous Las Canteras city beach in Las Palmas is about 15 kilometers away.

Facilities

The building dates back to the 18th century, a time when it was used to dry coffee beans and corn to produce Gofio, a typical staple food (toasted corn flour), and later as storage warehouses for bananas and sugar cane. Everywhere you look today, where bananas now grow, sugar cane was cultivated back then. The total area of the finca is 500,000 m², with banana plantations as far as the eye can see. Paths lead through the plantation and invite you to take a walk. You can walk from the finca to the small town of Arucas in about 15 minutes. During the restoration, materials such as granite stone and teak wood were used, which were professionally refurbished and thus reused true to the original.
The hotel has 2 floors with a total of 18 rooms and suites distributed on the ground and upper floors. Furthermore, there is a spacious lounge with an open fireplace (only in operation during winter) and various cozy sofa corners, a small open lounge, a small reception, a restaurant with a courtyard, a beautifully landscaped garden, and a swimming pool (heatable in winter) with a sun terrace and loungers.

Double room

Each room is decorated differently and features a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), rental safe, telephone, and a small heater upon request (D).
Single occupancy (DE) can be booked on request.

Junior suite

Same as the double rooms, but with an additional living area. The rooms are spread over 2 levels, and the upper floor can be reached via a wooden staircase (JS2).
