When booking an inside or outside cabin, accommodation in the hotel is provided in a studio with all-inclusive board. The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – the Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 pm.

Day 1: AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal starting point to get to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of Poets". When you visit the city with its harbor parks or Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this patch of earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From afar, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. Trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port, you can watch the fishermen and feel the fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the lively Las Ramblas promenade is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theater. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral, or take the time for an extended walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functional cabins with maximum comfort. They are air-conditioned and offer interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (at an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (at an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² in size and offer space for 2 to 4 people. (partially with separate beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (partially portholes) in the sea-view cabins offer a great view and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sun of the day. Sea-view cabins are approx. 20m² in size and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (partially with separate beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with maximum comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² in size, plus the balcony.

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants serve delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pummid’Oro pizzeria, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Workshop), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partially with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, 19 different bars are available to you (for a fee); for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors (for a fee) round off the culinary offerings.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness center with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee on board, as well as arrange personal training sessions in the fitness center!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours in the care of trained entertainers at the Squok Children's Club. There is fun for every age group: Mini-Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi-Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen-Junior-Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen-Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Wellness

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda has a theater at the bow of the ship where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from age 18, gaming bets not included), a disco, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m, ensure plenty of fun and action. Themed nights are held regularly on deck, and interactive shows invite you to participate.

Protur Badía Park

Location

Renovated a few years ago, the spacious hotel complex is nestled in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach can be reached in just a few minutes on foot (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of unclouded bathing fun. The center of Sa Coma is almost on the way, which makes it easy to combine a day at the beach with a little shopping stroll.
Sa Coma and the neighboring town of Cala Millor are so close together that a walk from the hotel to, for example, the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor is highly recommended. For the approx. 3 km, you should allow about 30 minutes. However, this and other places can also be easily reached by bus, as the bus stop is only approx. 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, should you have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs for home: a large and well-stocked supermarket is located next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park features 232 rooms spread over six floors, six elevators, a modernly designed reception in the front building wing, a TV room, a bar with a show room, and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outside, there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, and a pool area with a children's splash pool, as well as loungers and parasols.

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive all-inclusive program with a diverse breakfast buffet from 8 am–10 am and a continental late-riser breakfast from 10 am–12 pm. For lunch and dinner, our guests help themselves at buffets with hot and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular themed evenings leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant, appropriate clothing is expected in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of themed restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), the Country Grill, Goa (Indian), and Cardamon (Asian) (themed restaurants included, subject to availability and with advance reservation). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30 pm–5:30 pm, coffee, tea, cake, pastries, or other snacks are available at the bar. Sandwiches from 11 pm–12 am. A varied selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (according to the posted All Inclusive menu) is available at the bars from 10 am–12 am. Wearing an all-inclusive wristband is mandatory.

Fitness room (from age 16), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved on-site for preferred times for a fee), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, minigolf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort features the Protur Natura Farm, which houses some regional animal species. A visit to the 36-hole minigolf paradise (from May 1st) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

"La Reserva" water park with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the very little ones (open from the beginning of May until mid-October, depending on the weather).

Children's program

A diverse entertainment program for children is, of course, a must. The mini-club, with nightly mini-disco, is offered for children aged 4–12.
