Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 p.m.

Day 1: AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name „Gulf of Poets“. When you visit the city with its harbor parks or Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name fits this corner of the earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From afar, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. But side trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port, you can watch fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the bustling Las Ramblas boulevard is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theater. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see the magnificent Gothic Cathedral, among other things, or take time for an extensive walk in the old town.

On the "Piazza di Spagna" with its large staircase to the stern and a promenade with a glass floor, you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea. In the numerous restaurants of the Costa Smeralda, every meal becomes a culinary experience, and the extensive entertainment program ensures unforgettable evenings. The cozy and modernly furnished cabins invite you to relax after eventful days.

Accommodation

Interior cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with maximum comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (at an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (at an extra charge).
The interior cabins are approx. 13m² in size and accommodate 2 to 4 people. (partly separate beds).

Exterior cabin

Large windows (partly portholes) offer a great view in the sea-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sunlight of the day. Sea-view cabins are approx. 20m² in size and accommodate 2 to 4 guests (partly separate beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² in size, plus the balcony.

Full board

In a total of 11 restaurants, you will be served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, the family restaurant “Tutti a Tavola”, and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly with reservation and at an extra charge). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars available (at an extra charge), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors (at an extra charge) to round off the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness center with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to stay active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee on board, as well as to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness center!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours under the care of trained entertainers at the Squok Kids Club. There is fun for every age group: Mini-Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi-Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen-Junior-Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen-Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (at an extra charge).

Wellness

Samsara Spa (at an extra charge): Wellness area covering 6,000m² over four decks with a fitness center, thermal pool, thalassotherapy pool, rooms for treatments, sauna, Turkish steam bath, whirlpools, and much more.

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda has a theater in the bow of the ship where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, game stakes not included), a disco, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, and the Skywalk at a height of 65 m ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are organized regularly on deck, and interactive shows invite you to participate.

Protur Badía Park

Location

The spacious hotel complex, renovated just a few years ago, is nestled in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach is reached in just a few minutes on foot (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of pure swimming fun. The center of Sa Coma is almost on the way, making it easy to combine a beach day with a little shopping trip.
Sa Coma and the neighboring town of Cala Millor are so close together that a walk from the hotel to the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor is highly recommended. For the approx. 3 km, you should allow about 30 minutes. But this and other places can also be reached very easily by bus, as the bus stop is only approx. 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, if you have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs to take home, there is a large and well-stocked supermarket next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park has 232 rooms spread over six floors, six elevators, a modernly designed reception in the front building wing, a TV room, and a bar with a show room and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outdoors there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, and a pool landscape with a children's splash pool, as well as loungers and parasols.

The bright and friendly furnished studios are equipped with bath/shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, refrigerator, microwave, telephone, TV, rental safe, sofa bed, as well as a furnished balcony (room size approx. 28 m², room code: S12).

With the same equipment as the studios, these offer a separate bedroom and a living room with 2 sofa beds (room size approx. 41 m², room code: A12).

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive All Inclusive program with a varied breakfast buffet from 8–10 a.m. and a continental late-riser breakfast from 10–12 a.m. For lunch and dinner, our guests help themselves at buffets with warm and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular theme nights leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant, appropriate clothing is expected in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of theme restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), Country Grill, Goa (Indian), and Cardamon (Asian) (theme restaurants subject to availability and with reservation included). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30–5:30 p.m., coffee, tea, cake, pastries, or other snacks are available in the bar. Sandwiches from 11 p.m. – midnight. A varied selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (according to the displayed All Inclusive menu) is available at the bars from 10 a.m. – midnight. Wearing an All Inclusive bracelet is mandatory.

Fitness room (from 16 years), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved for desired times on site for a fee), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, minigolf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort features the Protur Natura Farm, where some regional animal species are housed. A visit to the minigolf paradise with 36 holes (from May 1st) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

Water park "La Reserva" with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the very little ones (open depending on weather conditions from early May until presumably mid-October).

Children's program

A varied entertainment program for children is, of course, a must. The Mini Club, with an evening mini-disco, is offered for children from 4–12 years old.

Dear children, do you actually know what I like to do most? Go on vacation, of course! Don't you feel like visiting me for a few days at the hotel and going on vacation with me?
