Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 PM.

Day 1: AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of Poets". When you visit the city with its harbour parks or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name fits this corner of the world.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From a distance, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. But side trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port (Old Port), you can watch the fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the lively Las Ramblas promenade is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street artists, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take time for an extended walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern, functionally furnished cabins with maximum comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² in size and accommodate 2 to 4 people. (partly separate beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the sea-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the day. Sea-view cabins are approx. 20m² in size and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (partly separate beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² in size, plus the balcony.

Full board

In a total of 11 restaurants, you are served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Atelier), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time is determined by Costa. In addition, 19 different bars are at your disposal (for a fee), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlours (for a fee), rounding off the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports court and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee on board, as well as arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Small guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Children's Club under the care of trained entertainers. There is fun here for every age group: Mini Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen Junior Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Wellness

Samsara Spa (for a fee): Wellness area on 6,000m² over four decks with fitness centre, thermal bath, thalassotherapy pool, rooms for treatments, sauna, Turkish steam bath, whirlpools, and much more.

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda has a theatre in the bow of the ship where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, game stakes not included), a disco, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m, ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are held regularly on deck and interactive shows invite you to participate.

Protur Badía Park

Location

The spacious hotel complex, which was renovated a few years ago, is embedded in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach is reached in just a few minutes on foot (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of undisturbed bathing pleasure. The centre of Sa Coma is almost on the way, which is why the beach stay can be perfectly combined with a little shopping stroll.
Sa Coma and the neighbouring town of Cala Millor are so close to each other that a walk from the hotel to the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor, for example, is highly recommended. For the approx. 3 km, approximately 30 minutes should be planned. But this and other places can also be reached very well by bus, as the bus stop is only about 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, if you have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs to take home: a large and well-stocked supermarket is located next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park has 232 rooms spread over six floors, six lifts, a modernly designed reception in the front building wing, a TV room, a bar with a showroom, and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outside, there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, as well as a pool landscape with a children's splash pool, as well as loungers and parasols.

With the same facilities as the studios, these offer a separate bedroom and a living room with 2 sofa beds (room size approx. 41 m², room code: A12).

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive All Inclusive program with a varied breakfast buffet from 8–10 am and a continental late-riser breakfast from 10 am–12 pm. For lunch and dinner, our guests help themselves to buffets with warm and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular theme nights leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant, appropriate clothing is expected in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of theme restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), the Country Grill, the Goa (Indian), and the Cardamon (Asian) (theme restaurants included subject to availability and with advance reservation). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30 pm–5:30 pm, coffee, tea, cake, pastries, or other snacks are available at the bar. Sandwiches from 11 pm–12 am. A varied selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (according to the displayed All Inclusive menu) is available at the bars from 10 am–12 am. Wearing an All Inclusive bracelet is mandatory.

Fitness room (from 16 years), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved on-site for preferred times for a fee), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, minigolf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort has the Protur Natura Farm, where some regional animal species are kept. A visit to the 36-hole minigolf paradise (from May 1st) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

Water park "La Reserva" with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the little ones (open depending on weather conditions from the beginning of May until presumably mid-October).

Children's program

A varied entertainment program for children is, of course, a must. The Mini Club, with an evening Mini Disco, is offered for children aged 4–12.

Dear children, do you actually know what I like doing best? Going on holiday, of course! Wouldn't you like to visit me in the hotel for a few days and spend your holiday together with me?
