Location

The popular bathing bay of Cala Mesquida is one of the most beautiful beaches in Majorca. The picturesque bay, which is under environmental protection and is approximately 300 m wide, is characterized by its high dunes and leads directly into a pine forest. The Hotel Zafiro Cala Mesquida is situated in a prime location overlooking the stunning bathing bay. You can reach the magnificent, fine-sand beach after only 400 m. The next larger town, Capdepera, is approx. 5 km away. Cala Ratjada, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, is approx. 7 km away. A supermarket and a public bus stop are located near the complex.

The 339 studios and apartments of this 4-star hotel are built in Mallorcan style and spread around the extensive green grounds. The family-friendly hotel complex offers a lobby with a reception and seating areas, a courtesy and luggage room, as well as a lift in every building. The two buffet restaurants "Caprice" and "Marco Polo" (only in high season) are known for their culinary variety, as is the "La Palapa" restaurant, where you can dine à la carte in the evenings and round off the night afterwards (with AI and 7-night minimum stay). Framed by the apartment buildings, there is a large pool landscape (7 pools), including an integrated children's pool with a pirate ship, several sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols, as well as the "Babalú" cafeteria where you can enjoy a snack, a pool, and Bali beds, along with the "Las Dunas" pool bar.

Swim up Suite

With the same equipment as the One Bedroom Suite, these also have a small garden with direct pool access (2SU).
Rooms with direct pool access represent an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet, show cooking, and themed evenings in the Caprice buffet restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, and local beer) are offered on a self-service basis during lunch and dinner. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cocktails and mixed drinks, from approx. 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. 1x per stay, à-la-carte dinner in the theme restaurant "La Palapa" included (prior reservation required and only for stays of 1 week). Destination information

A tourist tax, comparable to a visitor's tax, must be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to €2.20–€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (Nov 1st–April 30th), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the booking party is obligated to inquire about any additional conditions applicable through Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
