Location

One of Mallorca's most beautiful beaches is the popular bay of Cala Mesquidia. This picturesque bay, about 300 m wide and a protected natural area, is characterized by high dunes and merges directly into a pine forest. The Zafiro Cala Mesquida hotel is located directly above this stunning bay. In just 400 m you will reach the magnificent, fine sandy beach. The next larger town, Capdepera, is about 5 km away. Cala Ratjada with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants is about 7 km away. A supermarket and a public bus stop are located near the complex.

The 339 studios and apartments of this 4-star hotel are built in the Majorcan style and spread around the extensive green area. The family-friendly hotel complex offers a lobby with reception and seating areas, a courtesy room and luggage room, and an elevator in each building. The two buffet restaurants, "Caprice" and "Marco Polo" (main season only), are known for their culinary variety, as is the "La Palapa" restaurant where you can enjoy à la carte dining in the evening and then relax there (with All Inclusive and a minimum stay of 7 nights). Framed by the apartment buildings, the large pool landscape (7 pools) includes an integrated children's pool with a pirate ship, several sun terraces with loungers and parasols, the "Babalú" cafeteria for snacks, and a pool bar with Bali beds and the "Las Dunas" pool bar.

One Bedroom Suite

With the same amenities as the studios, these also feature a separate bedroom (room size approx. 43 m²). Room code: OB2. Also bookable with side sea view (2SS) and pool view (ZOP). Additionally bookable under PMI467 as S2.

Swim up Suite

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these feature a small garden with direct pool access. Room code: 2SU. These rooms can be booked for children aged 6 and over.

Penthouse Suite

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these also feature a spacious rooftop terrace with a whirlpool, loungers, and pool view. Room code: PHS. Also bookable at an additional charge as a One Bedroom Penthouse Suite with side sea view (OBV).

One Bedroom Park Suite

Friendly, bright, and equipped with a living/sleeping area, separate bedroom, rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony. (SOP). Also bookable at an additional charge with pool view and kitchenette (BPP). Located in the former Zafiro Park Cala Mesquida. (Additionally bookable under PMI467 as Park Suite Room (PA2)). Also bookable at an additional charge with pool view.

Rich breakfast and dinner buffet with cold and hot dishes and show cooking. Appropriate attire is requested. Local drinks are included with dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet with show cooking at the Caprice buffet restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, and local beer) are available for self-service at lunch and dinner. 2 themed dinners per week combined with 5 weekly specials at the Caprice restaurant. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as cocktails and mixed drinks, from approx. 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. 1 à la carte dinner at the "La Palapa" themed restaurant included per stay (advance reservation required and only for stays of 1 week or longer). Ice cream specialties, fruit, cakes, and sandwiches from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Destination information

A tourism tax, similar to a tourist tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the travel registrant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
