Location

The popular bay of Cala Mesquida is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca. The picturesque bay, which is protected as a nature reserve and approximately 300 m wide, is characterized by its high dunes and leads directly into a pine forest. The Hotel Zafiro Cala Mesquida is located in a prime position overlooking this stunning bay. You can reach the magnificent, fine-sand beach after just 400 m. The next larger town, Capdepera, is approximately 5 km away. Cala Ratjada, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, is about 7 km away. A supermarket and a public bus stop are located near the complex.

The 339 studios and apartments of this 4-star hotel are built in a Majorcan style and are distributed around the spacious green area. The family-friendly hotel complex offers a lobby with a reception and seating areas, a luggage room, and a lift in every building. The two buffet restaurants, "Caprice" and "Marco Polo" (only in the high season), are characterized by their culinary variety, as is the "La Palapa" restaurant, where you can dine à la carte in the evening and wind down afterwards (with AI and a minimum stay of 7 nights). Framed by the apartment buildings is the large pool area (7 pools), which includes an integrated children's pool with a pirate ship, several sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols, as well as the "Babalú" cafeteria where you can enjoy snacks, a pool, Bali beds, and the "Las Dunas" pool bar.

Swim up Suite

With the same features as the One Bedroom Suite, these include a small garden with direct pool access. Room code: 2SU. Rooms with direct pool access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked in these room types.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet and show cooking in the Caprice buffet restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, and local beer) are offered as self-service with lunch and dinner. Twice weekly themed dinners combined with 5 specialties of the week in the Caprice restaurant. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cocktails and mixed drinks, from approx. 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM. Once per stay, à la carte dinner in the themed restaurant "La Palapa" is included (advance reservation required and only for guests staying at least 1 week). Destination information

A tourism tax, comparable to a local tourist tax, must be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is € 2.20–4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person from 16 years of age.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (1.11.–30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
