Location

The historic country house hotel PortoBay Serra Golf is located in the picturesque village of Santo da Serra. A small, charming country estate surrounded by laurel forests, which were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. The area boasts some of Madeira's most beautiful Levada trails. The Santo da Serra golf course is nearby. The center of Santa Cruz is about a 10-minute drive away, and Funchal is approx. 25 km away. The distance to the airport is approx. 10 km.

The tastefully furnished country house "PortoBay Serra Golf" consists of a main building with 21 rooms, dating back to 1920 and part of the region's architectural heritage, as well as an annex building. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a fireplace, and the restaurant 'Avó Micas', Wi-Fi, a reading room with an LCD TV, a DVD and CD library, and a heated indoor pool with direct access to the garden area.

Double Room

The double rooms are approx. 26m² in size, located in the annex building, and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, cosmetic mirror, Rituals brand toiletries, twin beds, air conditioning/heating, telephone, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and coffee/tea making facilities. They do not have a balcony or terrace (D). Also available as a double room for single use (E).

Double Room Superior

The Superior Double Rooms, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 38m²) and located in the main building (DSU).
