Location

Overlooking the entire bay of Machico and located just a few steps from the picturesque and historic small town of Machico, the Hotel Baia Madeira offers a prime setting. The newly created sandy beach is only approx. 150 m away. Funchal is about 22 km away. The hotel is situated in charming scenery, surrounded by evergreen mountains that contrast with the deep blue sea. Thanks to its preferred location, the hotel is an ideal starting point for an active holiday. The airport is approximately a 10-minute drive away. There are regular public bus connections to the capital, Funchal, and to other island excursion destinations.
