Location

Overlooking the entire bay of Machico and located just a few steps away from the picturesque and historic town of Machico, the Hotel Baia Madeira awaits you. The newly created sandy beach is only approx. 150 m away. It is about 22 km to Funchal. The hotel is situated in a charming landscape, surrounded by evergreen mountains that contrast with the deep blue sea. Thanks to its prime location, the Hotel Dom Pedro Madeira is the ideal starting point for an active holiday. The airport is approximately 10 minutes away by car. There are regular public bus connections to the capital, Funchal, and other excursion destinations on the island.

The double rooms with garden view are equipped like the double rooms, but additionally feature a garden view and are equipped for 1-3 persons (3GD).

Junior Suite Bay View (FNCA20)

The junior suites are approx. 29 m² and are located on floors 5-10. They have the same equipment as the double rooms and are additionally furnished with a seating area, air conditioning, and panoramic windows with a magnificent view of the bay (JSI).

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Leave the airport and follow the signs for "Machico" onto the expressway. After approx. 5 minutes of driving, you will pass through a tunnel. After leaving the tunnel, follow the road towards "Machico". You will find the Hotel Dom Pedro Madeira after a few meters on the right-hand side.
