The Les Suites at the Cliff Bay hotel is idyllically situated on the outskirts of Funchal, on a hillside overlooking the bay. A pebble beach is located approx. 1 km away. The center of Funchal, with its numerous shopping and entertainment venues, restaurants, and bars, is approx. 2 km from the hotel. Funchal International Airport is approx. 17 km away.

This elegant and charming 5-star hotel, part of the PortoBay Hotel & Resort chain, features a main building, an annex, and a total of 23 luxurious suites. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour front desk, a lobby with seating areas, an elevator, an internet corner (included), a luggage room, a cinema, a library, a games room, a set-menu restaurant, the "Avista" restaurant, 2 à-la-carte restaurants (for a fee, prior reservation required, some located in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), and 4 bars (some in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay). The well-maintained outdoor area (weather permitting) includes a garden, a sun terrace, an infinity swimming pool (freshwater), an outdoor whirlpool (freshwater), and an infinity pool bar (open seasonally from 10:30 am to 6 pm). Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the pool area.

The sea-view suites are approx. 60 m² in size and feature a bathroom made of Greek marble with a bathtub, separate shower cabin, double vanity, toilet, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and "Bvlgari" amenities. They include a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single/twin beds (separated by a sliding door), a living room with sleeping options, a desk, a seating area, air conditioning (seasonal), heating (seasonal), a safe (included), a minibar (water and soft drinks included, otherwise for a fee), a telephone, 2 smart TVs (each 49-inch smart TV with HDMI/USB port), Wi-Fi (included), bathrobe, slippers, coffee/tea maker, coffee machine, pillow menu, microwave (on request), and an approx. 17 m² balcony (furnished) with sea view (S2M/S1M/S3M).

With otherwise similar features to the sea-view suites, these offer a small private garden with two sun loungers and a parasol (SA/1SA/SA3).

Duplex Suite with sea view

Also with similar features to the sea-view suites, these offer a living area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom on the upper floor. These rooms span 2 floors and the two levels are connected by a staircase (IX2/IX1/S2X/2SB).
