Location

The Les Suites at the Cliff Bay hotel is idyllically situated on the outskirts of Funchal, on a hillside above the bay. A pebble beach is located approximately 1 km away. The centre of Funchal, with its numerous shopping and entertainment venues, restaurants, and bars, is about 2 km from the hotel. Funchal International Airport is approximately 17 km away.

The elegant and charming 5-star hotel of the PortoBay Hotel & Resort chain features a main building and an annex, with a total of 23 luxurious suites. Facilities include a reception area with 24-hour reception, lobby with seating areas, lift, internet corner (included), luggage room, cinema room, library, games room, set menu restaurant, "Avista" restaurant, 2 à-la-carte restaurants (for a fee, prior reservation required, some located in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), 4 bars (some located in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), and a well-maintained outdoor area (usable weather permitting) with a garden, sun terrace, infinity swimming pool (freshwater), outdoor whirlpool (freshwater), and infinity pool bar (seasonally open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
