Location

The hotel Les Suites at the Cliff Bay is idyllically located on the outskirts of Funchal, on a hillside above the bathing bay. A pebble beach is located approximately 1 km away. The center of Funchal with numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities, restaurants and bars is approximately 2 km from the hotel. Funchal International Airport is approximately 17 km away.

The elegant and charming 5-star hotel of the PortoBay Hotel & Resort chain has a main building and a secondary building, as well as a total of 23 luxurious suites. The facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lobby with seating areas, an elevator, an internet corner (included), a luggage room, a cinema room, a library, a games room, a set menu restaurant, the "Avista" restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants (for a fee, prior reservation required, partially in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), 4 bars (partially in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), a well-kept outdoor area (usable depending on the weather) with a garden, sun terrace, infinity swimming pool (freshwater), outdoor whirlpool (freshwater) and infinity pool bar (open seasonally from 10:30 AM to 6 PM). The Sea View Suites are approximately 60 m² in size and feature a bathroom made of Greek marble with a bathtub, separate shower cabin, double vanity, toilet, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and "Bvlgari" amenities, a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds/twin beds (separated by a sliding door), a living area with sleeping arrangements, a desk, a seating area, air conditioning (seasonal), heating (seasonal), safe (included), minibar (water and soft drinks included, otherwise for a fee), telephone, 2 Smart TVs (each a 49-inch Smart TV with HDMI and USB connection), Wi-Fi (included), bathrobe, slippers, tea/coffee maker, coffee machine, pillow menu, microwave (on request), and a balcony of approximately 17 m² (furnished) with sea view (S2M/S1M/S3M).

With otherwise similar amenities to the Sea View Suites, these offer a small private garden with two sun loungers and a parasol (SA/1SA/SA3).

Duplex Sea View Suite

With otherwise similar amenities to the Sea View Suites, these offer a living area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom on the upper floor. These rooms therefore extend over 2 floors, and the two levels are connected by a staircase (IX2/IX1/S2X/2SB).
