The unique hotel has a total of 81 rooms (spread across several interconnected buildings), a reception area with a lounge, the outstanding à la carte restaurant "Tipografia", a cozy cocktail bar "Iris" with an outdoor terrace, and conference rooms (for up to 70 people). On the roof of the hotel, you will find the modern freshwater swimming pool and a jacuzzi with a pool bar "Pretas" offering a unique view over the bay of Funchal.

Accommodation

Double room

The comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 20 sqm) are decorated with great attention to detail and feature a shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, pool towels, kettle with tea and coffee, air conditioning, minibar, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi (included) and safe (incl.) (D). Also bookable as a double room for single occupancy (DE). Also bookable as double room type O with limited availability and special price (ZOD).
During the summer season, double rooms are also available as Young Traveller Rooms (YTR) at a special price (all participants must be between 18 and 29 years old).

Deluxe Double room

The Deluxe Double rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but feature a balcony. Also bookable as a Deluxe Double room for single occupancy (DD1), or as Deluxe Double room type O (DDO) with limited availability at a special price.

Deluxe Premium Double room

schauinsland-reisen Original: The Deluxe Premium double rooms have the same amenities as the Deluxe double rooms, but feature a large furnished balcony. From winter 25/26, guests will receive a bottle of Madeira wine and a honey cake upon arrival, as well as a daily bottle of water in the room. (XDP).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (approx. 30 sqm), with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, feature an integrated living area and a French balcony (JS2).

Suite

The suites are quite spacious at approx. 40 sqm and, with otherwise the same amenities as the Junior Suites, feature a separate living room. Suite guests receive 1 bottle of Madeira wine, water during their stay, and 1 Madeira honey cake (S2).

Rich buffet in the morning. In the evening, à la carte dining in the restaurant (as a set menu, drinks are not included). HB+ can be booked for an additional charge and includes 2 glasses of wine or beer, water, and coffee per person/dinner.
