The unique hotel features a total of 81 rooms (spread across several interconnected buildings), a reception with a lounge area, the outstanding à-la-carte restaurant "Tipografia", a cozy cocktail bar "Iris" with an outdoor terrace, and conference rooms (for up to 70 people). On the hotel roof, there is a modern freshwater swimming pool and a hot tub with a pool bar "Pretas" offering a unique view over the bay of Funchal.

Double room

The comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 20 m²) have been decorated with great attention to detail and feature a shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, pool towels, electric kettle with tea and coffee, air conditioning, minibar, flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi (included), and safe (incl.) (D). Also available for single occupancy (DE). Also bookable as a double room Type O with limited availability and special pricing (ZOD).
In the 2026 summer season and winter 26/27, the double rooms can also be booked as a Young Traveller Room (YTR) at a special price (all travelers must be between 18 and 29 years old).

Double room Deluxe

The Double rooms Deluxe (DD2) have the same facilities as the double rooms but additionally feature a balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (DD1) or as a double room Deluxe Type O (DDO) with limited availability at a special price.

Double room Deluxe Premium

Schauinsland-Reisen Original: The Double rooms Deluxe Premium feature the same facilities as the double rooms Deluxe, but have a large furnished balcony and offer a Nespresso coffee machine. Upon arrival, guests receive a bottle of Madeira wine and a honey cake, as well as a bottle of water in the room daily. (XDP).

Junior suite

The junior suites (approx. 30 m²) feature an integrated living area and a French balcony, with otherwise the same facilities as the double rooms (JS2).

Suite

The suites are quite spacious at approx. 40 m² and feature a separate living room, with otherwise the same facilities as the junior suites. Suite guests receive 1 bottle of Madeira wine, water during their stay, and 1 Madeira honey cake (S2).

BB/HB/HB+

Rich breakfast buffet in the morning. Evenings à-la-carte in the restaurant (as a set menu, drinks are not included). HB+ is bookable for an extra charge and includes 2 glasses of wine or beer, water, and coffee per person/dinner.
