It features a total of 315 rooms, junior suites, studios, and apartments. With the same features as the double rooms with side sea view, the double rooms with side sea view upper floor (DOS) are located above the 10th floor and offer additional amenities such as bathrobes and slippers, access to the sauna and Turkish bath, as well as early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability).

Double room deluxe sea view

Zusatzhinweis

Star tour excursion program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday): Discover the most beautiful panoramas of Madeira on this half-day tour. From the Pico dos Barcelos heights, you overlook the bay of Funchal, and the tour continues to Eira do Serrado, from where you can look down to the floor of an extinct volcano. Far below lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Nuns' Valley). Continue to Monte, where you will visit the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte. On the way back, you have the opportunity to ride in traditional wicker sleds. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday): Departure towards Câmara de Lobos (fishing village where the famous black scabbardfish – Espada – is caught). We continue via Cabo Girão (at 580m, the highest cliff in Europe), and then the path takes us along the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta de Sol, it goes uphill to the Paúl da Serra plateau (1400m). Finally, we go downhill to Porto Moniz to the natural sea swimming pools. This is where the lunch break is taken. The return journey is via the north coast and leads through Seixal to São Vicente. From there, it goes uphill over the Encumeada pass (1007m), where you can see the north and south coast at the same time. Afterwards, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday): Departure into the mountains via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). The route then goes downhill to Ribeiro Frio. Here you are in the middle of the laurel forest (Laurisilva) of Madeira, which has been named a World Heritage Site. The trip continues to Santana, known for its thatched houses. This is where the lunch break is taken. Afterwards, we go to Pico do Facho. Finally, return to Funchal.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday): The 4th and final excursion leads us, after an approx. 1.5-hour Levada hike (difficulty level: easy), to the Botanical Garden, which is famous for its approximately 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
