Location

The quinta with its individual charm is surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape on the outskirts of the pilgrimage site of Monte, above Funchal. The center of Funchal is approx. 3 km away. You can reach it using two extraordinary means of transport: the historic toboggans or a cable car (both for a fee), the starting point of which is just a few minutes' walk away.

The stylish 4-story building with a total of 42 rooms has a lobby, à la carte restaurant, winter garden, elevator, bar, library, Wi-Fi (included in the lobby & rooms), common rooms, game room, and an indoor pool. The park-like garden area with lush vegetation (including over 300-year-old trees) and a wonderful view over the bay of Funchal is particularly inviting. In the garden area, there is also an old chapel decorated with hand-painted azulejos (typical Madeiran tiles).

Double room

The double rooms, renovated in 2024, approx. 23 m², have a wooden floor, bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning/heating, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (free of charge) and a balcony with a garden view (D).

Additionally bookable from Winter 25/26 as double room type I (DI).

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located on the upper floor and additionally have an armchair, desk, and chair (DSU).
