The hotel is located directly by the sea in Caniço de Baixo. It is separated from the rocky/stony coast only by the coastal promenade (direct access from the pool area). Numerous entertainment and shopping options are nearby. It is approximately 3 km to Caniço, and Funchal can be reached in about 14 km. Regular bus connections are available in front of the hotel.

The non-smoking hotel has a total of 212 rooms spread over 8 floors, a large lobby, Wi-Fi (included), shops, elevator, game area (snooker and billiards), library, main and à-la-carte restaurant, bars, hairdresser, smoking area, beauty salon, spa, indoor pool, and a heated whirlpool. The outdoor area features a heated saltwater pool, children's pool, pool/snack bar (small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating), and a sun terrace. Double room side sea view

The very spacious double rooms with side sea view (DMS), approx. 20 m², feature a shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, Wi-Fi (included), minibar, rental safe, electric kettle, as well as a balcony with a side sea view.
Double room sea view (DM) can be booked for an extra charge (these rooms all feature a balcony).
Each can also be booked for single use for an extra charge (DES, DEM).
Also bookable as a Young Traveller Room (YTR) for guests between 18 and 19 years old. Bookable in Summer 26 and Winter 26/27.
From Winter 25/26, additionally bookable as Double room side sea view Type O (SDO) or Double room sea view Type O (DMO).

Double room Superior sea view

Located on the 1st–2nd floors, the Superior sea view double rooms (DMU), approx. 25 m², have the same features as the double rooms with balcony, offer direct sea views, a sofa bed for a 3rd person, toiletries in the bathroom (bathtub and shower), bathrobe, and free internet access (Wi-Fi). In addition, guests in this room category have reserved sun loungers at the pool and exclusive access to the new lounge. In Winter 25/26 also bookable as Superior double room for single use (DME).
For bookings of at least 7 nights, a tea time with herbs from the hotel's own herb garden is included per person/stay.
Additionally included: Free use of the lounge on the 2nd floor of the hotel with sofas, tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, daily international newspapers (digital), magazines, books, 1 computer with printer, coffee and tea machine, and local non-alcoholic drinks, as well as 2 dinners per week in the à-la-carte restaurant when booking half-board.

Studio sea view

The sea view studios (SM2) have the same features as the standard double rooms but also include a kitchenette, sea view, and are approx. 25 m² in size.
From Winter 25/26 additionally bookable as Studio sea view Type O (SOM).

Apartment sea view

The apartments with sea view (2AM) feature a combined living/bedroom with a sofa bed, separate bedroom, kitchenette, and sea view, otherwise equipped like the double rooms with side sea view, with a room size of approx. 34 m².

Double room sea view Type I

With otherwise the same features as the sea view double rooms, these have a special price and a limited quota. The Double room sea view Type I can only be booked with half-board (bookable in Winter 24/25). Room size approx. 17-20 m². Bookable in Summer 26 and Winter 26/27.

Studio (FNCA07)

With otherwise similar features to the sea view studios, these offer ONLY side sea view (S12/S11/K12).

Junior suite sea view (FNCA07)

These spacious junior suites offer more space, a small kitchenette, a living/bedroom, and a separate bedroom (JMA/J1M/J2M/J3M) compared to the double rooms, with similar other features. Room size approx. 34 m².

Family room (FNCA07)

The family rooms (DF3, DF4) are similar in features to the junior suites, also offering a kitchenette and a separate bedroom, but are larger at approx. 57 m².
