Location

The Hotel Pestana Churchill Bay is located directly by the sea, centrally in the town center of Camara de Lobos. In the immediate vicinity is the small harbor of the picturesque fishing village, surrounded by the town's colorful houses. Restaurants, bars, and cafés can be reached in just a few minutes' walk. Every year, a traditional folk festival (Festas de São Pedro) takes place between the end of June and the beginning of July, and the Black Swordfish Gastronomic Festival takes place in mid-August. During the festivals, things can get a bit livelier in the entire town; various program highlights including music will take place late into the evening.
