Location

The Pestana Churchill Bay hotel is located directly by the sea, centrally in the town/city center of Camara de Lobos. The small harbor of this picturesque fishing village, surrounded by the town's colorful houses, is in the immediate vicinity. Restaurants, bars, and cafes can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. The famous "Cabo Girão" cliff is approximately 6.5 km away. Funchal can be reached in about 15 minutes by car (approx. 8 km away). Madeira Airport is approximately 26 km away.

Opened in the summer of 2019, this 4-star hotel from the well-known Pestana hotel group has a total of 57 rooms across 2 floors, split between 2 buildings. Seasonal information

Every year between the end of June and the beginning of July, a traditional folk festival (Festas de São Pedro) takes place, followed by the Black Swordfish Gastronomic Festival in mid-August. During the festivals, things can become a bit livelier throughout the town, and the various program points, including music, continue late into the evening.
