The adults-only hotel AP Oriental Beach (bookable for ages 16+) is located in the first beach row on a rocky plateau directly above the magnificent, expansive sandy beach of Praia da Rocha (direct access via stairs). The centre of Praia da Rocha, with its restaurants, bars, entertainment and shopping options, is only approx. 300 m away, while Portimao is approx. 2 km away. Faro Airport is approx. 75 km away.

Built with attention to detail in a Moorish-Oriental style, the 4-star hotel features a total of 90 cosy rooms. Double Room Side Sea View

The double rooms with side sea view have the same facilities as the Super Saver Rooms, but additionally include a balcony or terrace and a side view of the sea (DMS). Double rooms with side sea view for single use, bookable in summer 2025, are available for an extra charge (DES). Also available as a Double Room Side Sea View Type A, with otherwise the same facilities as the double rooms with side sea view, at a special price with limited quota (AMS).

Seasonal information

Between May and September, festivals take place on the beach every year at various times. One of the largest festivals is "Afro Nation," which takes place in June (2027: June 9-11, 2027). Due to the assembly and dismantling, there may be disturbances from the second half of May until mid-June. These may be visual and acoustic and may also affect beach usage. This applies to all events.
