The adults-only hotel AP Oriental Beach (bookable from 16 years) is situated in the first beach row on a rocky plateau directly above the magnificent, expansive sandy beach of Praia da Rocha (direct access via stairs). It is only approx. 300 m to the center of Praia da Rocha with its restaurants, bars, entertainment, and shopping opportunities, and approx. 2 km to Portimao. Faro Airport is approx. 75 km away.

The double rooms with side sea view have the same facilities as the Super Saver Rooms, but additionally include a balcony or terrace and side sea view (DMS). Double room side sea view for single use, bookable in summer 2025, are available for an extra charge (DES). Seasonal information

Festivals take place on the beach from time to time every year during the months of May to September. One of the largest festivals is "Afro Nation," which takes place in June (2027: June 9-11, 2027). Due to assembly and dismantling, there may be disturbances from the second half of May to mid-June. These may be visual and acoustic and may also affect beach usage. This applies to all events.
