Location

The complex is situated on cliffs in a rural setting, between the small fishing village of Burgau (approx. 1.5 km) with a cove and the peaceful resort of Praia da Luz (approx. 3.5 km) with its fine sandy beach. The historic city of Lagos is about 10 km away. There is a bus stop nearby. Faro Airport is approximately 95 km away.

The popular Quinta do Mar da Luz hotel is characterized by its tranquil and idyllic atmosphere. The 92 individually furnished rooms are spread across a main building and several bungalows within the garden complex. Facilities include a reception (not continuously staffed), bar, lounges, and a panoramic terrace with 3 swimming pools (sunshades, loungers, and cushions are included in the pool area).

Studio

The studios have a shower room/WC, hairdryer, combined living/sleeping area, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), a safe for rent, kitchenette (including a stove, coffee machine, toaster, small refrigerator, pots, cutlery, glasses, and kettle), and a furnished terrace.

The apartments (1 bedroom) have the same amenities as the studios, but feature a living room with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette. Apartments with 2 bedrooms (two separate bedrooms) can be booked at an additional charge. Apartments with sea view (1 bedroom) can be booked at an additional charge.

Double Room

Directions from Faro Airport (FAO):
From the airport, follow signs for N125/Portimão/A22. Take the A22 motorway towards Portimão/Lagos and take the Lagos/Vila do Bispo exit. Follow the exit to the roundabout. Turn right here, towards Vila do Bispo/Sagres (you are now on the N125).
Pass the two exits for Luz until you turn right for Almádena. Turn left here, the road will curve. After approx. 2 km, the road ends at a T-junction. Turn left here, towards Burgau. After approx. 200 m, turn left (signpost "Quinta do Mar da Luz"). Follow the signs to reception.
